October

It's October 165th and it honestly still feels like late August- it's been hot and humid these last couple of weeks... I am so ready for fall.   Luckily the next few days will be cooler... but only to creep back up by next weekend!   Bring on FALL!

So last weekend Hadley had a slight fever on Sunday afternoon and into the wee hours of Monday.  Very weird because she had no other symptoms.   Turns out a couple of days later she had a HUGE cold sore type thing under her tongue.  She literally only ate soft foods for days and didn't drink milk or suck on her lovie for five days.   Good news is it's almost gone - but today she started sucking her lovie again.. ugh!

She has moments of misery this past week and to cheer her up we went to Target twice and bought a toy.  These super cute Woodzeez toys are what she picked out- they're families of animals that 'live in the woods.'  She is very imaginative and loves to tell stories with them.

And she loves to help me take pics at Jack's football games.  On the sidelines!

Jack's team went 8-0 in the regular season.  They earned themselves a bye this coming weekend and will hopefully play two more games.   It's been so much fun and I have really enjoyed this team.  Jack will never be a football superstar but he sure does work his ass off and loves it.   We love the parents and the kids are all so close.  I will miss it for sure.

And Miss Hadley is LOVING soccer- like so very much.  I am so proud of her for listening to her coach and having a blast.  She really does enjoy it seems genuinely happy when she's on the field and at practice.

I love this series of pics.  Haddie does great on the soccer field but at times she needs to be more aggressive.  She was taking her turn sitting out and Riley popped up and said "I am going to tell her to be more aggressive."

Ri sure does a great job at being a big sister!   I hope Hadley realizes how lucky she is.

Next week is Riley's big weekend!  Finally some lax games.  I can't wait.

And somehow overnight my little girl is no longer a little girl.  She's a beauty on the verge of middle school and growing up!   YIKES.  She gets up and straightens her hair every single day... this pic was from picture day a week or so ago.

Simply stunning.

My girls rocking their Superstars and pink shoelaces.

And who says swimming in October can't happen?  And it wasn't even heated!

Don't think this will happen again- temps are dropping down at night this week!

Until next time....
