Swingmen

Jack's inaugural season with travel ball is over.  

The Swingmen finished up their last tournament of the fall this weekend. 

Although they lost more games than they won over the last two months, Jack has grown exponentially. 

He's played a variety of positions: 2nd, shortstop, 3rd base, outfield and pitched. 

His favorite position to play is pitcher, by a mile.

I would say his pitching is what surprised me the most. 

Although he's still not crushing the ball at the plate, he is very consistent with his pitching and has excellent control of the ball. 

He has had a great season, made some new friends, learned quite a bit and his confidence grew. 

I would call it a success.

Now it's time to play some flag football, continue with winter workouts for baseball and maybe (not sure yet) play some basketball.
