Peace and quiet

I am sitting in the TV room, watching golf, blogging and staring at a huge pile of clothes waiting to be folded. (Is it me or is there always laundry to fold?) Maybe if I close my eyes the clothes will fold themselves. Only in my dreams.

The kids have camp this week. Jack is going to an all day camp at our local Y. They do lots of nature activities, crafts, swimming, etc.... It's a great camp. Jack did it last year but only for a half-day. He's concerned about the length of the camp (it's from 8:45-4:45) because he says he'll miss his Legos but I assured him that they will be here waiting on him when he returns.

Ri's going to her 2nd week of summer camp at her preschool. I talked to her teacher last week and she's going to really try to get Ri to use the potty. We'll see. She seems to be over her issues at home and doesn't request a pull up for going number two anymore. In fact, Daddy owes her a trip to Target this afternoon b/c he promised her a toy if she went in th toilet. (Bribery at it's best).

As for me- I have a long list of things to do this week while I am kidless in the mornings. Looking forward to getting some stuff done.
