random thoughts..

...jack is still coughing...must be leftovers from his croup attack Saturday night.

...at what age do you call is asthma and not the croup?

...jack bought two more Legos today w/ his money: Power Miners. my almost-five-and-a-half-year-old-Lego-lover put together two of these Power Miner thingies pretty much by himself. the box says ages 7-14. pretty cool. daddy did help once.

...carpets cleaned today-can actually see the playroom carpet and it's original color!

...ri didn't nap again today- didn't even try b/c I wanted her to bed early tonight---why? i want to watch some of the oscars from last night, even though i already know who won--i just want to listen to some speeches.

...todd's finishing up painting the spare room tonight now i need to hit up rooms to go for some end tables and a head board.

...cold again this week- supposed to be warm by the weekend, thank goodness. i want to be outside.

...bought ri some more summer stuff at target today. they have the cutest and cheapest stuff around. of course it won't last long. but it's great for play, school and outside stuff.

...ri's had a potty mouth again the last few days. had to spank her behind earlier this evening b/c she said: "fu*&^ng noise poopy but" to ME! yep- spanked that behind. hard. tears were shed.

...time to put jack to bed and read him a book.

...btw---- i really like writing w/ no capital letters. my elementary school friend Michele writes her blog like that and i like it- maybe i'll keep doing it.
