- daddy flew home for the day for a big meeting
- we hit the park here in DeBordieu for some slides and swings
- three more trips to the pool
- a few squirt gun fights
- riley being dunked under the water and loving it
- our first let's-pack-all-the-junk-up-and-load-it-on-the-golf cart beach trip
- watching a guy reel in a 4 FOOT shark w/ a fishing pole
- yes- you read the previous one correctly- it was four feet long
- smoothies at the Blue Heron
- pics on the beach w/ a photographer
- mommy w/ a wicked soar throat
- riley swallowing too much salty pool water and having a diaper explosion
- visiting w/ Martine, Lucas and baby Nash up in Myrlte Beach
- todd and I making shrimp po boys for dinner
- daddy's milkshakes
One more cute thing I have to write about.
Yesterday I woke w/ a wicked soar throat and could not get up. Todd took Riley downstairs so I could get some more sleep and on her way out of the room she says to me:
"Mommy- see you in a while."
I thought it was too cute. She is really conversating now. Being around the girls has helped too.
Tomorrow brings a sitter all day and night. One of my former students, Juliana, and her big sister Whyte are watching the kids while the guys golf and the girls shop and have lunch out. We're going out for a nice dinner tomorrow night. Hopefully the kids (hint hint Riley) will cooperate.
