All is well for our little Jack. The growth hormone does work, albeit a little slow.
His blood work came back normal and his bone scan is w/in the normal range. I am thrilled.
There was one test (thyroid) that came back a little high but the Dr. is not too worried about it b/c they just changed the reference points for this test and a year ago he would have fallen into the normal range.
Todd and I were both late bloomers so she suspects he's just a late bloomer and always will be.
So- we go back in May to have his measurements taken again and if they are not up to par she'll do more blood work and recheck everything.
Keep your fingers crossed that our little man hits a growth spurt.
By the way- he's 3% for height at 37 1/2 inches and he weighs in at a whopping 31 1/2 lbs (with clothes on)!
