For instance: Riley loves to "hide" her Raffe (stuffed giraffe that has assumed the uber-original name of Raffe) in random places around the house. She actually has two of them (don't ask) and it's really cute that she hides them until nap time and we are on the Raffe hunt. Look below and you'll see her newest hiding place.
That would be the kitchen cabinet next to the stove. If you look closely you can see all the finger prints on the stove from RiRi.
She also likes to take things out of the refrigerator. She can't open it, but will sneak in and steal things from the bottom shelf in the door while I am getting things out. Right now we have Parmesan cheese, a bottle of Ranch dressing and mayonnaise on that shelf. Yesterday I noticed a bottle of Ranch dressing on the TV room floor right before we left for school. Riley must have gone fishin' while I was packing the kids' lunches. Silly girl.
Jack has recently been asking a lot of "What does ______ mean?" The last couple of days he has asked about the words "shy" and "handle." I have no idea why he was interested in the word handle, but it was a lot easier to explain than the word shy.
Jack has always been into drawing, coloring, doodling and anything else that has to do w/ paper and markers/crayons/etc. His latest thing is drawing houses and parks w/ all the fixins. He now clearly draws the sun, clouds, trees, windows, yards, roofs, doors, etc... He has to make sure they are the right color now too. I have no idea where this came from but all of a sudden he can do it. It's very cute listening to him explain his masterpieces. I am saving lots of them too.
That's all for now- I'll write a separate blog about his Dr. appt. this a.m.
Until next time...
