OK- just writing the date for the title to this blog made me realize that before we know it we'll be writing '08. How scary is that? I swear, the older I get, the faster time goes by.
Anyway- the significance of 11.29.07 is Jack's appointment with the endocrinologist. We have the results of his bone scan and his bones are showing age 3, which is typical for a kid who just turned four. Our pediatrician didn't seem concerned about that. We'll find out at the end of November the results of the blood work, which includes the growth hormone.
And Miss Priss has an appointment with an ENT this Tuesday for a consultation for possible tubes. She's all clear right now, but with cold season on the horizon and her being so prone to ear infections, our ped is recommending we go that route. I agree. Although I love our pediatrician and his nurses, I am sick of seeing them so I'd prefer to get this taken care of.
I'll keep you all posted on the medical front.
Todd takes off for his annual guys weekend tomorrow through Sunday. They are headed to New Orleans and then to the LSU/FLA football game on Saturday. There are five of them going and needless to say they will have a great time.
I am headed down to Columbia tomorrow w/ the kids. I am going to the USC/UK (numbers 11 and 6 in the country- crazy huh?) football game tomorrow night. I am excited, it's been two years since I've been to a game. I am also doing a breast cancer walk this weekend and taking Jack to see the USC/UK women's volleyball team. I'll be pulling for UK on this one since Todd's cousin Craig is their head coach.
I'll write when I get back.
Until next time...
