Labor Day

We headed to the beach this past weekend for the last time this summer and Riley was finally able to enjoy the beach since she is officially walking now. Although the weather was overcast the entire weekend (until we left Monday morning) the kids all had a blast. We hit the beach Saturday and Sunday mornings and went to the pool for a little on Sunday.

The most exciting event of the weekend was Jack played his first real golf hole. We are fortunate to have access to the golf course via Steve and Gretchen's golf membership so whenever we are at the beach Todd and Jack hit the range. Jack got himself a real golf glove this weekend so he's even more into golf than before (I wasn't sure that could happen.) Once everyone teed off on Sunday we took the kids out and they played the first hole. It was a sight to be seen. Jack actually did great and could have kept going if we let him. Here's some pics of the weekend.

All four kids in a big hole hammin' it up. The ocean was super rough and that created all the foam you see. RiRi ate it like it was sugar. Gross.

Now that she walks Riley had a blast at the beach. She took a couple of diggers but got up and kept going.

She loved the holes w/ water in them, she splashed around like she does in the tub.

Here she is, fighting the wind.

Jack and Todd building a hole that was just crashed by a wave.

Jack getting a lesson from Daddy- the best teacher in the world.

Check out that back swing.

Not sure what he's looking at or why he still has that glove on- who knows.

Until next time...
