Todd and I have been gearing up for our Sweat the Barrel Party in two weeks. He painted the patio out back and we redid some plants and flowers in the front yard. It's hard to believe that Todd's been "sweating the barrel," or making whiskey since Thanksgiving. The guys are going to "extract" the whiskey from the barrel next weekend- should be interesting. We're looking forward to it.
Here's some pics of the kids playing- they've been busy and only have a few more weeks of summer before preschool starts.
Jack loves his bouncey ball. He got it for Christmas, but we just blew it up this summer and he bounces all over the house in it.
There are two things that Riley loves most: books and babies. She now crawls herself (no, still not walking) into the living room (reading room) and pulls books of the shelf. My mom says I did this all the time as a kid. Payback is hell, I guess.
Another picture of Miss Priss "reading."
RiRi in the playroom reading her books. I had to put some in a basket on the floor for her to reach b/c she kept trying to reach them on the shelf. She'll sit in my lap for a long time while I read to her. I love it.
Here she is again, reading away in the playroom. It's the first (or second) thing she heads to. The other thing being her baby dolls.
Speaking of dolls, here she is with her doll basket. It's not the best picture, but you get the point.
Jack passed out on the couch during dinner time. Still sucking that thumb! ARRGGHHHH....
Until next time...
