Well we made it... June 9th until August 28th all three kids were out of school. (Hadley ended two weeks before the big kids and doesn't go back until next week).
Momma was ready for everyone to go back to school. Summer fun and lazy days are great but the big kids fight too much so they need to get back to being busy.

I actually forgot to take Jack's pics on Day One so this is his Day Two of Eighth Grade:
So far, after three days of school, things are great. Riley adores her teacher so much. I think this is favorite teacher so far and I am so thankful for that. She is a rock star teacher too.
Jack's school switched to block scheduling this year so it's an adjustment for him to have longer classes. I think it's great and he will adjust.
Ms. Donna came today and babysat hadley so i could have some time to myself. It turns out that her friend Sterling needed a babysitter too so we offered up Ms. Donna! The little ladies had a blast. And we sure do love Ms. Donna.
Last week was the big eclipse... we could have gone down to Columbia or to the beach to see 100% totality but with Jack having practice and my volunteer schedule it was just too much.
So we just headed down the street to our friends for a little party.
Jack's team is off to a 2-0 start. Lucky for Jack they won easily last weekend so he got to play quite a bit. They even ran a play designed just for him.
Hopefully we'll see it again this fall.
I am team mom this season so I happened to be down on the field taking pictures so I snapped a series of pics during his play.
