We are about 2/3 of the way through a very busy baseball season for Jack.
Two teams, four-five nights a week practice (or week night game) and anywhere from 3-5 games every weekend makes for one busy kid. And throw in a little 7 v 7 football on Sunday's when he can make it.
Yesterday his middle school team lost a tough game 6-5 and Jack didn't get to play- after thinking he would. Poor kid. He did run for the catcher a few times but he wanted to really play. So what did he do when he got home? Practice his pitching and threw against the pitch back over and over agin.
This kid never stops.
And- just to brag a little- his school work hasn't suffered one bit. He's maintained an A plus average in all classes.
But- I know one kid who will look forward to six weeks off (well sorta) this summer.
And one mom who will too!
