Calm Before the Storm

It's not really the 'calm before the storm' around here, but rather the "warm before the cold." 

As "Perfect Storm Sandy" rages along the east coast we had a perfect weekend of our own here. 

Friday night was family night with dinner out and Madagascar 3.

We carved pumpkins.

We played in the leaves.

We watched Weddington Middle School's 6th grade football team win their championship. 

We cleaned and organized closets (had to be done:)). 

We went to a kid friendly Halloween party and an adult only Halloween party. 

The kids played outside with neighbors today for no less than 5 hours. 

And Todd cooked a rib roast for dinner to polish off a great weekend. 

It's going to be in the low 50's for several days this week. 

Brrr.

Time to bust out the Ugg boots and warm jackets for the kids.
