Weekend

Lots of baseball this weekend.

Riley's 1st game was rained out, again.

She was bummed.

Jack's challenge team didn't play so well but they had fun.

The last game we played was against the other MARA challenge team.

We weren't playing for anything but pride so our coach decided to let the team coach themselves.

They loved it.

The boys decided what positions each team member played and had to work it out if two kids wanted to play the same position.

Jack played one inning at pitcher and five innings at 2nd base.

I've never, ever seen him play so well defensively.

He stopped everything that came his way and made lots of outs.

He even dove head first, landing flat on his chest, trying to catch a ball.

A coach from another league even told me how well Jack played.

I was one proud momma.

He had a blast and left with a huge confidence boost, great memories and a big smile on his face.
