A Funny Memory

Occasionally I will take a look back at old blog posts.

It's always fun to see what Jack and Riley were up to three years ago, five years ago, etc...

In November of 2006 I started this space of writing and photography and I'm near 1000 posts.

It's crazy when I think about it.

I wonder what the total would be if I added up all the minutes I have spent uploading pictures and writing.

It's worth every second.

On another note.

I found this little gem the other day.

I swear- when Riley gets married I am going to find snippets from this blog and print them out for her!

And then when she becomes a mom, Lord willing, I'll do it again.

This is my sweet girl, in action almost three years ago.....

Within minutes Ri did the following things (while I had shrimp in the oven , nuggets in the toaster oven, etc...).

• peed all over the rug in the porch


• pulled the shrimp peels out of the trash


• bothered her brother


• refused to go upstairs to get a new pair of underwear on


• stomped around in her hot pink mary jane shoes (in only a t-shirt)


• pooped ALL OVER the nice rug in the office- getting it down her legs and on her hot pink shoes

Then- during dinner- she proceeded to get ketchup all over her face, shirt, hands, etc..
