Ferris Wheel in NYC

I was super excited for the kids to be able to ride the
ferris wheel at Toys R Us in Times Square.
It's something all kids should do.
Kinda like a Kid's Bucket List, if you will.

Well- it was a bust.
First of all - Riley REFUSED to ride it.
I swear she will not do ANYTHING if she can't be in full control of herself.
I don't see roller coasters in her near or distant future.

We watched the boys from the balcony and took over-exposed pics and video with my phone.
Jack was another story. He was so excited to ride it.
But once he figured out the ride was FOREVER he was over it.
The faces he gave me each time they went around were classic.

I could 'hear' him sighing and most likely complaining to his Dad something like:
"OMG Dad- when is this thing going to be over?"

Todd even asked the dude working the controls when they were getting off.
Kinda funny.

Looks like the Milligan's won't be riding the Toys R Us Ferris Wheel anytime soon.

Here's Jack's reaction.

Until next time...

We shoulda traded kids for the event! Ash would have been scared, but wouldn't have wanted to miss it (so give Riley a few more years, Ash turned 7 in August) and both would have asked to ride it again, and again, and AGAIN and Jon would have had to tell them it wasn't allowed :) But that's the girl in them....J
