So day three, Monday, was lots of hanging out w/ cousins – well, 2nd cousins if you want to get particular. Jack and Ri were occupied all week by Todd’s cousins and all of their children. The kids range in age from 14 all the way down to three months. Twelve kids- all hanging out. It was great.
It seemed that every morning the kids would walk over to GiGi and Bo’s (Uncle Bill and Aunt Julie’s) house and eat a 2nd breakfast of toast and peanut butter. I think this is because they would see Ben eating toast w/ peanut butter and they wanted to eat what he was eating…. or something like that.

And then there’s Camp. Let me tell you about Camp. Todd’s Aunt Janie (Gretchen’s sister) married Paul a while back (40 ish years or so – I’d guess). From what I gather Uncle Paul’s been going to MVY for a looonnggg time. His family has land on the ocean that they call Camp. It’s on a cliff over looking the ocean. On the land is a super small house and a bunkhouse next to it for sleeping. It’s awesome. Todd and I got engaged there over 8 years ago, drinking wine and eating cheese and crackers. Amazing.
So on Monday we all headed over to Camp to swim in the ocean. Two things about the beaches up at Camp – the water is freezing and there are tons and tons of rocks. But it is gorgeous. I went camera happy while we were there. Here are a few of the pics.
The kids had a blast swimming, digging, walking, wave jumping, rock climbing, rocking finding and just hanging out.
Once again Ri wasn’t too fond of the ocean. She found a perch on the rocks and played her little heart out the entire afternoon.
