Dear Jack:
Just wanted to give you a heads up now that your father and I plan on retiring and following you around the globe and/or country while you play professional golf. Your dad tried this route, but a bum shoulder and making a living came first, so he quit. But- you my dear, just might make it.
So- keep practicing b/c the way the market looks now we'll be needing your help.
Love you,
Mom

OK OK- I am just kidding. We do plan on supporting ourselves later in life, but MAN- the kid can hit a golf club.
He had day one (of three) of golf camp this morning. He loved it. Seriously. Again-he's the youngest out there this summer but it doesn't matter. One of the pros told my father-in-law when he picked Jack up from camp that she couldn't believe how good Jack was.
That's my boy. Keep it up.
After golf camp his Poppy took him out for a guys afternoon, just the two of them. They went to lunch at one of Jack's fave's - Jersey Mikes- and then went to Martin's. In case you don't know, Martin's is a massive golf warehouse. Poppy bought Jack a hybrid 4 wood driver. He's already tried it out this evening.
They polished off their trip to Myrtle Beach with a detour through Costco and then a round of Putt Putt.
A day of fun. I must say.

As for the ladies- we hit the quilt shop for fabric for Ri's new bedding. I am sooo thrilled. It's gorgeous. Ri was a such a good girl (except for the fact that I had to put a diaper on her halfway through our day out) and behaved like a dream.
We did the start the a.m. off w/ a quick trip to the park. It was hot and we didn't stay long.
And we ended the day with yet another swim in the pool. Ri is getting more and more adventurous. I am going to have to keep my eye on that girl this summer.
Tomorrow Jack has golf camp again and then we head up to Myrtle Beach to visit one of my old friends Martine and her two boys. The kids should have fun playing together.
Whew. What a day.
Until next time...
