today was gorgeous. absolutely. gorgeous. that's all there is to it.
too bad we weren't at the park. i was stuck at home waiting for three people to come buy stuff i listed on craigs list. chucking away at that camera. unfortunately i have sold most of the stuff i think i can get any money for- but i'll keep at it.
instead- here's a list of what we did this afternoon- all in a span of three glorious hours spent outdoors.
played car wash
played street hockey
colored w/ chalk
built sand castles
played w/ water
ate ice cream sandwiches
snacked on pb and j's (the kids wanted them for a snack- ok???)
played 'shoot the rocket'
rode a scooter
rode a bike
played w/ neighbor
chatted w/ neighbor
cleaned screened in porch
realllly cleaned screened in porch- like bleach-the-cushions-clean
vegged
got scared of a worm
played w/ kody bear
hummmm- think that about sums up our day.
'bout to put ri to bed and make cookie dough w/ jack.
