Yipee. I am ready for a two parent household again, at least for two days. Todd was gone a couple of days again this week and Ri has a little cold- blah. That makes for a long week. Right now she's watching a few minutes of Mickey Mouse before she hits the sack. She's tired.
So- do y'all remember this picture?
Well- it happened again. This time I caught it, unlike last time.
This a.m. Ri and I were running a couple of quick errands. Walmart didn't have one ingredient I needed so we quickly ran into the grocery store and grabbed what we needed and left. I started the car and immediately heard a ding. I looked at the little computer display thingamajiggie and it 'said' CHECK REAR RIGHT TIRE PRESSURE. Great- I thought. I flipped through the options and it was reading:
Left Rear: 35 (normal)
Right Rear: 23
Eeeeks.
I hopped out of the car and checked out the tire. Before I saw anything I heard a hissing sound, not good. I looked down at the tire and saw a white thing- as wide as my finger- stuck in my tire. Not good, again.
I made it home and quickly made arrangements for my neighbor's nanny to bring Jack home from school and called Todd. I ended up calling the 1-800 GM number and they sent a guy out w/in an hour to change the tire so Todd didn't have to do it this time.
So- now tomorrow while Jack's at school Ri and I get to go back down to the car place and more than likely get another new tire. Ugh.
On another note....
I was on the phone w/ my friend this afternoon and Ri called for me a couple of times. I ignored her. I guess she was mad b/c she took a black crayon and colored all over the spare room door and wall in the hallway. I popped her bottom- put her in time out- and busted out a Magic Eraser. Thankfully it was wipeable.
So- maybe tomorrow will be a better day. I'm headed off to bed to watch my Thursday shows.
Until next time...

You go Riley....writing with a black marker is a very good way to get Mommy's attention. Will wonders never cease? You 2 have a strong-willed daughter and I love it because you never know what that child will do.
