The kids had a blast and Jack actually drew the 'face' with a marker and 'carved' the pumpkin himself w/ one of those pre-packaged-saw-thingamajiggies that we never had when we were a kid. Of course I was nervous and held my hand over his other hand in case he slipped, but all was well and he did great. (Mommy touched it up a tad- ssshhhh....)
Ri watched. She didn't want to touch the innards but after a while she warmed up. She wanted to dig in as well. It was super cute.
I'm sure I'll have pics of the big pumpkins.
