Abby...I mean Jess...I mean Jen came to visit.

A few weeks ago Abby and her family stayed with us for a weekend- she has short, dark brown hair.

Last week Jess babysat for me- she has short, dark brown hair.

Yesterday, one of my dearest friends from college, Jen, came to visit for the day and night and hang w/ me and the kids for a while.

My darling Riley decided to call Jen 'Abby and Jess' the entire time. It was super cute. She woke this morning saying, "Abby, Abby...." Over and over Jen and I would correct her but to no avail. My girl just kept getting confused.

Anyway- we've been staying busy the last couple of weeks with LOTS of swimming. Jack can swim a looong ways by himself now. He finally has his legs and feet behind him when he swims now so he can go farther and farther. Riley loves the water too- she's gone under a few times but is fine with it. Last week she actually was floating on her belly - by accident- but luckily I got to her in time before she swallowed too much water. Myself- it's a lot of fun at the pool but I am always by myself so it's a good bit of work.

Jack is in a cooking class this week for three days. It's not what I expected- they aren't really cooking anything, just reading books about food and doing a craft- but nonetheless Jack still likes it.

Next week he has his first camp at the YMCA- it's all week from 8:45 to 12:45 and jam packed with fun things to do.

Today is day number three w/ no naps for Riley. It's super annoying and I hope she's not totally done w/ them. I guess she just doesn't need the sleep like Jack did at this age. Oh well-

We're gearing up for Riley's birthday party this weekend. We're celebrating a week early since we leave for the beach next Friday for two weeks. It should be a great time with good friends and family joining us.
