Easter

We had a great time at the beach. The kids had fun w/ their cousins, as usual, and the adults had a nice time as well. Jack spent some time on the driving range w/ Todd working on his swing, which is getting better and better, and Riley loved jumping on the trampoline. Next time we're down there I am going to film them jumping on the trampoline and post it because it's a hoot- they love it.

It was still a bit chilly on Friday but much warmer on Saturday. We took advantage of the warmer weather and went for a stroll on the beach w/ the kids after the Easter egg hunt. Todd's mom cooked up a yummy Easter dinner Saturday night. We had ham, lamb, potatoes and asparagus. Delicious. We topped it off with a banana nut cake that was to die for. Seriously.

The kids woke Sunday morning to clues left from the Easter Bunny. They each had a little treasure hunt to go on to find their baskets. Of course they were super excited to get their goodies. The kids went on their final egg hunt of the season after breakfast Sunday in the backyard. I must say it was a success. Now, if we can just get this candy out of our house that would be even better.

Poppy loves to take his boat out and get oysters for everyone. Ava, Jack's 5 year old cousins LOVES them and sucks them down. Jack ate a few too, after doing some inspecting.

Jack 'inspects' the oysters first.

Riley is obsessed with shoes. She has on Ava's Crocs here.

Hope y'all had a good one.

Until next time...
