So, Jack has his party on Friday at My Gym. For those of you not familiar w/ My Gym, it's a tumbling/gymnastics place that throws the best parties around. The kids had a blast and the guy who did Jack's party was awesome. Needless to say we were all exhausted by the end of it.
Jack is a very lucky boy (we've been trying to tell him) who has lots of family and friends that love him so he was showered with really cool gifts: three John Deere tractors (which he really wanted), lots of vehicle type things that move and light up, a monogrammed beach towel, funky pens, clothes and other assorted goodies. I hope he knows how lucky he is.
Along with turning four we now need to crack down on the thumb sucking and he's vowed to keep his Dee (stuffed animal he sleeps w/) in his room and will no longer play w/ him during the day. Just so Riley doesn't feel left out in the milestone department tonight is her first night w/o the bottle. She's been down to one bottle a day for about a month now, but it's the night-night bottle that she's held on to. I'll write another blog about her transition later this week.
Here are some pics of Jack's b-day.
Jack and the girls, Eleanor, Maddie and Alex, listen for directions.
Jack and the boys, Aiden, Camp and Kyle, take a ride on the hot dog.
Riley and her friend Kaitlyn watch from the sidelines.
Jack climbs across a low set of monkey bars.
RiRi in the germ, I mean ball, pit.
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Jaaaccckkkk, Happy Birthday to you.
Until next time...
