We made it home safe and sound around noon yesterday. It's nice to be home, but we sure do miss the ocean, pool and family.
Our last weekend ended nicely with celebrating Todd's 33rd birthday on Friday, the 6th. We actually celebrated with the family on Thursday night with Todd's annual dinner: tenderloin, twice baked taters, veggies and strawberry pie. It was delicious. After dinner we all had a water gun fight. It was a sight to be seen, all of us running around the front yard (adults still in clothes) squirting each other w/ these big water guns that Steve bought. Needless to say we were all exhausted afterwards.
Todd and I went to Charleston on Friday to hang out with friends and had a great time. Todd's buddy surprised Todd with an ice cream cake, which was delicious. We went back to Charleston Saturday night for the Martinelli's 60-40-30 birthday celebration which was also fun.
Now we're home and back to the grind. Todd headed back into work this morning and I took and not-so-happy Jack to vacation bible school. He ended up having a great time so I didn't feel to guilty. Riley had her one year check up today. She weighs in at 20 lbs 6 0z, which is in the 25% and also is in the 25% for her height. Another shortie, I guess. She had four shots so she's in her bed passed out right now, thank goodness.
Here are some pics from the beach.
Until next time...
Jack's a big swimmer now, he loves it.
Miss Priss has a tan and loves the ocean.
The four grandkids all dressed up for brunch.
RiRi also likes the beach, eating the sand mostly.
Our little beach bum.
4th of July golf cart parade.
More parade pics...
