It all started last week, on Monday, at soccer practice. Jack took a two plus hour nap that afternoon, waking right before soccer and was super sluggish during soccer. I knew something was wrong when he was barely kicking the ball around and was extremely lethargic. We left 15 minutes into practice.
The stomach bug had officially entered our house. Again.
Jack was struck with it Tuesday and Wednesday, finally feeling better Wednesday, just in time for his first private swim lesson (that's another post all together) on Thursday. He was a bit of a whino and crank pot those two days and basically we sat around the house (going stir-crazy) after cancelling several playdates. He hit the sack each night by 7 ish, which was nice for me, since Todd was out of town Tuesday until late last night, with the exception of few hours on Thursday.
Todd got hit with his bout on Thursday, after spending a day and half in CA on a business trip. He felt crappy, but mustered up enough energy to hit the links w/ his buddy in Charleston for a golf tourney.
Thursday night Riley got it, projectiling all over me after drinking her night-night bottle. YUCK! It was so gross. Especially now since she only eats table food, no more baby food.
Later that night I got it- horrible. Horrible! I called Todd at midnight, looking for some sympathy, but he was sound asleep in Charleston. (Arghh). I called my mom, waking her from a deep slumber and she said she'd come up early Friday a.m. to help w/ the kids. Thank God, b/c I could NOT get out of bed Friday. It was de-ja-vu all over again. I slept it off all day Friday and now we are all thankfully back to normal.
Let's hope and pray this is our last round of illnesses for the Milligan's this year. I think we deserve a break.
Until next time...
