Let's get it started

So here I sit, on the computer once again. Now that my children are starting to nap at the same time (when I am lucky) I find myself playing on the computer, for many reasons:

1. The computer is easy to access- I don't have to travel far to reach it, making it easier for me check emails multiple times a day. Not that I am important, or expecting anything important to come to me via email, but just well, because.

2. I don't like computer games, they drive me batty, so I find myself suring the net for silly things.

3. I am a news junkie, my Internet Explorer is geared to start on CNN.com. I know, I am lame. Shoot me.

4. I am a closet reality junkie. I love reading about other peoples lives. Weird, but oh well.

So those are just a few reasons why I need to start a blog. I spend enough time on this thing, I might as well make it worth my while, something I can look back on. I also miss writing, and maybe this will cure my itch.

So hear goes, my first ever blog. Never thought I'd do it, but what the hell. Feel free to comment or email me.

Until next time...

This is Alison's (as I call her) Mom and I am the guinea pig for her blog. I am happy to see her writing again as she does have a gift. I keep telling her she should write a children's book. You never know until you try. Her Jack and Riley are the loves of my life and I love spending time with them. Jack is so kind and gentle with Riley. It is just amazing. We'll see how things are going when she is mobile. Yikes....what am I saying? She is growing like a weed. Jack never stops moving or talking...he is nonstop but he is a good boy. Riley smiles all the time and is growing into a really cute little girl. I know that she and Jack will be best friends. Full-time mothering is hard but Alison fills her days with visitng friends and running those endless errands. That's all for now....join in and let's see where this goes.....Alison's Mom.....Pat Bartucca

Yes indeed....Riley Monroe was a very sick little girl. Her little cry was so pathetic it just broke my heart. She hated her medicine so she promptly spit it out. That did not make Mommy happy. She is much better today. Alison took Jack to school and ran some much needed errands and I stayed home with Riley. Jack is feeling the effects of Riley being sick and needing all of Mommy's attention. He loved having his 'Paa Paa' all to himself and I enjoyed it also. He is a joy and can be so funny. Hopefully by tomorrow everything will be almost back to normal and Daddy will be home late Thursday night.
