It's Almost December

Here we are... days away from Thanksgiving.
((I totally started writing this post a week ago and here we are- the Monday after Turkey Day- just finishing it up.))  Oops.

I've already started Christmas shopping- feeling totally on the ball this year :)-  We may even decorate for Christmas soon.

It's been a while since I last posted- we celebrated Halloween and Thanksgiving since then.
Sorry!

Jack's baseball team hosts a Halloween scrimmage each fall and parents are invited to come watch- it was so much fun.  I snapped tons of pics.

Both big kids are off and running every year now and that leaves poor hadley to trick or treat with us... she doesn't care though.  One day she'll have her own big group and leave us in the dust.

Ri went to a party and then scooped up TONS of candy... thankfully she shared.

No pics of Jack from the night of dressed up- as he didn't dress up the night of Halloween.  He went to a party and then 'walked around' with 40 kids- whatever that means.

Riley was a hawaiin surfer chic and Hadley was a black cat.

Hadley had 'Scarecrow Day' at school on Halloween- my cutie pie.

Jack did go to a Halloween party a few days before Halloween and dressed up as a rainbow nerd- whatever that means.

Miss Priss got her ears pierced a while back.   She kept talking about it so Todd and Ri took her down to the mall one Saturday- apparently she was a rockstar and didn't flinch.

Random pic of my cutie pie at Ri's lax tourney.

Hadley loves to play with Snapchat filters... all the time.

I went to the farm with Hadley and her class on a field trip - only took this one pic on a hay ride.  We had lots of fun and it was neat seeing my girl in her element with her friends.

The girls have hair cuts next week and Haddie wants to chop hers off- I keep telling her she shouldn't... I mean how cute is this 'sloppy bun?'

We decided to take a plunge and get another dog... she's a super adorable malshipoo and her name is Maizey Blue.  We got to meet her a couple weeks ago and man- we quickly fell in love with our girl.  She's adorable and super tiny.  I hope Swisher is nice to her... We pick her up on the 15th and we cannot wait.

Ri's last lax tourney was a few weeks back in Raleigh.  Todd went so this is the only pic I got- and I got it from Ri.  Guess I need to do better about asking Todd to take pics for me.    Her team had a great run this fall and I am looking forward to a busy winter and spring watching her play.

Ri's 6th grade dance was also a few weeks back.  We hosted the girls for a photo op pre dance and then an 'after party' after the dance.   They are sweet girls and had a great time.

I took Ri and two of her besties to a Hornets game a couple weeks ago- we had courtside seats (a few rows back) and passes to greet the players pregame.  It was lots of fun and I would totally go again any time.

Haddie has made several new friends in Kindergarten- including this cutie pie named Ruby.  She's super sweet and Hadley and her had a fun time on their playdate.

We've been to the park a few times this fall- Hadley loves bringing babies to the park with her.

And we had parent observation week at dance - she likes it.  No clue if she'll do it again next year- we'll see.

Last week we went down to USC to tour the campus and go to the USC/UK volleyball match with a bunch of friends.  Lots of fun.

We spent Thanksgiving at home and enjoyed cooking, eating, relaxing, sitting by the fire, watching movies and decorating for Christmas.

oh- and I took Christmas card pics.... :))))))

Gearing up for a busy busy month- winter lacrosse training for middle school and her club team, along with Polar Bear lacrosse on Sundays for Riley, baseball practice and weightlifting and basketball for Jack and dance and basketball for Hadley.  And I have less than three weeks to shop and wrap for Christmas- trying to get it all done before Maizey gets here!

Off to the bus stop!

Until next time...
