We spent a long Easter weekend at the beach. Unfortunately it rained most of the time but we still had a nice time as usual- eating, cooking, playing cards, hanging out… a nice getaway from the busyness of our every day lives.
The trip started off with a cranky Hadley- shocking. Here she is pouting and trying to get out of her carseat.
Friday afternoon we hopped on the golf cart and headed down to the beach. Haddie was ready to swim - in her clothes. She loved it. The big kids were at the pool.
Saturday afternoon we celebrated Hadley's birthday a couple weeks early. She's been asking for a rainbow cake for EVER! She was very happy with her rainbow cake~
Easter Sunday we took a long cart ride so the Easter Bunny could hide his baskets and clues.

On Monday we went to Brookgreen Gardens and checked out a really cool Lego exhibit. There were 10 or so giant Lego creations mixed in with nature.
And on Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at the club. Hadley refused to wear the cute dress I packed for her but was excited to hunt for eggs.
Until they said "GO!"
