Tomorrow is the big day

So tomorrow Jack starts kindergarten. I am not sure who is more excited: me or him. He is beyond ready for this next step and can't wait.

He told Todd this a.m. that he was 'lucky' that he didn't know anyone in his class b/c he gets to make new friends. (and I think he really meant it).

Weird how things have changed for him. He used to be somewhat shy and timid and lacked the confidence he needed to be successful all on his own in a 'big kid' school. Not anymore. He'll probably be up before Ri tomorrow (never happens) and dressed before coming out of his room.

So today I will gather his book bag, get his lunch money ready, pack a snack for him, lay his clothes out and just enjoy our day. He has baseball practice tonight so we'll squeeze in a dinner of his favorite chicken parm before heading out tonight.
