... two days post op and Ri slept all night last night. Granted it's 6:00 in the a.m. and we've been up for a half hour- but she went to bed @ 8:15 last night and I didn't hear a peep from her until almost 5:30.
No complaints here. I actually would prefer to get 7-8 hours solid sleep instead of 7-8 hours broken sleep- who wouldn't.
The pain meds have been working and do not affect her mood- she's not loopy and takes the medicine like a champ. I am proud of our Ri and she's doing great.
But- this weekend is her 4-5 day post-op and when the scabs usually come off- which I understand can be quite painful. Hopefully it won't be too bad b/c I have a baby shower in Columbia Saturday and will be gone all day.
Jack and Todd got home from the beach late yesterday afternoon. We were very happy to see them. It was nice to sit down have dinner together last night, something that doesn't happen very often.
So- life is getting back to normal. Jack has a playdate today w/ his good friend Dominick. I am sure they'll play Legos before heading to the pool. Ri and I are going to chill today and take a nap around lunchtime.
