Three hours and two bathroom breaks later....

Jack finishes his fourth Lego building job of the week.

For the second straight year all he wanted for Christmas was Legos. Last year it was the fire truck/station/car series, this year it's all about police and Coast Guard.

Santa brought him this.

Riley gave him this.

And Poppy and Gammy gave him this. The pics below show Jack putting that together.

And, if that wasn't enough, we ventured out to Toys R Us today to spend some of his gift cards from Pop Pop and Uncle Scott and this is what he found.

The finished product:

A little snack break before putting the dock and tower together.

Finished.

I see a future in architecture or engineering or construction or Lego designing or something to do w/ building.
He has put all of these Legos together by himself. This afternoon I sat at the table w/ him, just watching. He promply told me (several times) to leave him alone. Once in a while he couldn't find a piece in the massive pile on the table, but that was it. Each of these Legos has taken him b/w three to four hours and he sticks with it until they're done. Crazzzyyyyy!
Hopefully he can also use this concentration in other areas of his life. We shall see.
Until next time....
