It's becoming more and more apparent how different our first and second born are. Here are some examples:
1. I fuss at Ri all the time b/c she is constantly in Jack's business. Messing w/ his Legos, touching him, annoying him, playing w/ his stuff, the list goes on and on and on. The point being is I fuss at her quite a bit.
Her reaction: she either yells no to my face, sticks her finger in her mouth or does it again.
What to do, what to do? She's a mess.
Now- Jack, on the other hand, does not take 'being fussed at' very well. Last night he cried in the car b/c I fussed at him for hitting Riley, twice, in her carseat.
LORDY! He 'claimed' I was being nice to Riley and mean to him. I tried explaining to him that she wasn't doing anything wrong and when she does I fuss at her.
2. Jack has always (for the most part) been a good sleeper. Once he started sleeping through the night around 11 weeks he was good to go. At the ago of two or so he went through a spill of getting up once at night but that only lasted a month or so.
Now Ri- we all know about her sleep issues. Since we've been back from the beach she has done much better than while we were away. It is always a struggle to get her to sleep well when we travel. Not fun.
3. What next? There are too many too list. But- I can see into our future. Jack will be the good student who I never have to bother to do his homework. Ri- I will have to threaten to take her cellphoneiPodNintendolaptop- whateverthehottoyisatthemoment- away in order to get her to do anything.
So- I will leave you w/ a few pics from my parents/brother's visit last weekend.
