Litte bit of this...little bit of that.

....kids are long asleep. Ri fell asleep in the chair in the playroom at 6:15. I guess no nap did her in. Jack crashed at 7:15. Now- If they'd sleep until 7:00 tomorrow that would be great. I've been so spoiled lately, sleeping in. Todd's been getting up w/ the kids. They play and eat breakfast while I snooze or am at the gym. It's his time w/ the kids. I think they all like it. And- Todd's a morning person anyway. I just like to sleep until the sun comes up.


.... just got off the phone w/ my friend Meagan. Jack is good friends w/ her son, Camp. Click here if you can't remember him. Well- Camp broke his leg today!! YIKES. He has to be in a wheelchair for 2-3 weeks. His cast his up past his knee. Poor thing. I guess he jumped and landed on some papers and slid into the coffee table and broke his tibia right in half. Ouch. We're going to take him some goodies tomorrow and try to cheer him up.


.... have most of my Christmas shopping done. Hit the toy store and Target today to finish up the kids and nieces. Todd doesn't really want much- no problem. He is super hard to buy for anyway. Plus- he'd like to Scrooge his way through Christmas this year. Sorry honey- still gotta get some goodies for the kids. Plus- I'd really love a real camera. I won't subject myself to begging- but one day momma's gonna have a real camera to photograph our kids w/. Maybe not this Christmas, but something. The only thing left is my family, my Secret Santa and my annual bookstore trip.


....we're going to take Ri to her 'first' movie this weekend. She went to see Peter Pan this summer at the free movies and was pretty good. We're going to see Madagascar 2. We plan on hitting the early Sunday movie- before the church crowd hits. I assume if we load her up w/ popcorn and candy she'll be just fine. Plus- she likes the first movie- will actually watch some of it-. I'll let you know how she does. I'm sure Jack will be just fine. Hopefully Camp and his fam can join us- if he's up to it, with his wheelchair and all.


....so that's about it for now. We're actually home this weekend with not much to do. YIPEE. Maddie turns 5. USC plays FLA. Movies. Not much else. Should be nice.
