Bittersweet

Sixteen years ago Todd went off to college and found a friend, BJ Martinelli. They've been close friends ever since then.


Tomorrow, November 3rd 2008, BJ and his family will bury their father, Bernie Martinelli (Mr. Mart). Mr. Mart died this past week from ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.


I feel fortunate that I was able know Mr. Mart for the past 9 plus years. He's the kind of man that always made you laugh and always put a smile on your face. He was the life of the party and I loved being around him.


He is free now, no longer trapped in his body, but now an angel looking after BJ, his mom and sisters.


Here's to you Mr. Mart. You will be missed. Immensely.
