We're back

So after a long weekend away we made it home safely. We actually got on an earlier flight and were back at our house by 12:30 on Sunday.


The wedding was gorgeous. Todd's buddy, Geoff, got married near the water in Branford, CT. What a quaint little town. The wedding itself was beautiful and the reception was a blast, as usual. Those CT boys get together and I've never seen anything like it. I won't go into details, but when they get together it's crazy. Enough said. I can't hang w/ the boys anymore but I still had a great time.


It was wonderful to see friends that we don't see enough and spend some time together.


The kids were great for Gammy and Poppy. They were busy and didn't cause any problems (at least none that I am aware of!). I missed them and it was awesome when we got home yesterday and I got a great big bear hug from both of them at the same time.

We celebrated Jack's birthday (and Gammy and Poppy's) yesterday with the Milligan clan. Jeff/Tracy and the girls drove over for the day and it was nice to see them. Jack racked up some nice gifts. I'll post pics later and tell you about them.

Now I need to do some chores before picking the kids up from preschool.
