You got it- a ROLL UP WINDOW! I didn't know they even made those anymore.

I swear to y'all- this is what the dealer sent me home in today.

Let me back up....

After Todd spent over an hour this a.m. changing my tire I dropped the kids off w/ my neighbor Tracy and went down to the dealer. I sat there for an hour and he came in and told me I'd need a new tire- YA THINK?

He then told me they didn't have any in stock. WTH? They have a couple hundred Suburbans floating around the lot and don't have any tires- how can that be. So- he says a quick 30 minute trip to get the tire and then 5-10 minutes to put it on. OK- maybe 45 more minutes. I call Tracy and we decide she should go ahead and give the kids lunch.

Another hour passes and I go out to the area where all the important Chevrolet men stand around and find my main man and he says, "Oh- let me see what's going on."

"Maam- they got the wrong tire- it has white wall on it. We'll need go get you another one."

I explain to him that I need to get home and grab my kids and that I cannot (or won't) drive 30 minutes back to down to the dealer later in the day so they can have time to go get another tire.

His mind stirs and he says, "Well- I can get you a car and then have somebody drive your car to your house once it's done."

Bingo.

But- he tells me it's slim pickings on the rentals. No worries, I tell him, just get me home.

Soooo- they put me in the jelly bean. I swear I could fit two of them in my car if I tried hard enough. I laughed when I saw the roll up windows. I should have shown Jack- he doesn't know what they are.

Anyway- my car made it back. New tire. No white wall. All is happy.

And I'll probably never post three times in one day ever again.
