Recipe for annoyed mommy:

Mix a two year old who doesn't nap or sleep in a crib or pack-n-play and throw in surroundings that are not familiar and you have exactly one annoyed mommy.

Seriously- when will it get easy to travel w/ her?

On a positive note we did have a great time- during the day. My mom is always a super big help so we shared kid duties and I was able to hang w/ Jack and have some alone time w/ him. We even played 36 holes of miniature golf one morning, early.

It was nice to see some cousins and extended family that I don't see on a normal basis. We spent most of our time on the beach or in the pool. Jack is such a fish and swimming like a rockstar now so it's a lot of fun at the pool.

But- after two nights of hell w/ Miss Priss it was time to come home. She is not old enough to reason with yet so it makes it even harder trying to get her to sleep. Maybe one day we can travel w/ her and it be enjoyable. Not now.

Lucky for me the kids both have summer camp at their preschool next week so I can do some things around the house I've been meaning to do for some time.
