Another one.

I keep writing about our 'busy weekends' on this blog. I know that but it seems that we have been super busy lately.

But. This weekend coming up takes the cake. For. real. this. time.

A few months ago - maybe even 6 months ago or so - Todd mentioned wanting to take Jack to a NY Yankees game this summer since it's the last summer of Yankee Stadium. He thought it would be nice if he went w/ Jack and his dad. They are lifelong Yankees fans. Sounded like an exciting trip, except something was missing.

What you ask?

Me.

I wanted to go.

I want to be a part of those memories for Jack.

So- we, once again, called upon my mom to help us out. I am taking Riley down to her house tomorrow and we fly out Friday morning. Todd's parents are flying through Charlotte and will go with us.

The coolest thing happened this morning that makes this trip one notch better.

Todd flies a lot for work so he often gets bumped to First Class. This morning he checked his crackberry when he came downstairs and he had an email from USAir that all three of us were bumped to First Class.

How cool!!

So- it's my first time ever flying First Class and Jack's first time flying in a couple of years (he can't remember the other times) so it's going to be super cool.
