It's 7:20 and Jack's asleep. He's been asleep since 6:30. Talk about exhaustion. I hope he's not coming down w/ something. Riley's up there trying to get her little self to sleep. I hear her chatting and banging- Lord help her.
We've had a great weekend, lots of fun, sun and friends.
Friday night we saw some live music and ate ice cream w/ friends. I had to leave early w/ Riley b/c she had a little cold and was super tired. Jack had fun running around through the fountains and dancing to music.
Saturday we ran errands and played outside. The afternoon was so gorgeous, as was Sunday and today.
Last night we headed north of town to a pre-Memorial Day cookout. It's always interesting to be at a house where no kids reside. I found myself rearranging their coffee table while Riley helped herself to their goodies.
This afternoon we hit the pool w/ some friends and went to another cookout. Jack was a bit off all day. He didn't want to eat much and acted a bit sleepy. I hope it's just exhaustion. I don't want another sick child.
It's not even 7:30 and I'm heading upstairs to read and go to sleep.
Hopefully by tomorrow we'll all be rested and ready to start all over again.
