A month or so ago Jack and I got on the computer and looked on this website that has costumes that won't fall apart minutes after putting them on. He has a firefighter one from last year (a great b-day gift from his cousins) that has held up fabulous through the year so I thought it would be a great idea to get another one from the same place. Jack picked out a soldier costume and it came within days. I shoved it in the closet and it sat there until last week. Wouldn't you know that Jack refused to wear it to the Halloween Party last week. Unbelievable. I was p.o.'ed to say the least. So- the soldier costume went back into the closet until next year and we busted out old-faithful: Mr. Fireman. Thank God our son doesn't grow that fast b/c it still fits.
Now, for Riley, I had to find something that she could wear that wasn't really a costume. It couldn't have a hat or wings or something obtrusive b/c she'd be annoyed and rip it off, knowing her. So- about the time I was thinking about Halloween costumes the catalog from U of Michigan came in the mail. Jackpot. Guess what Riley is this year???? See below.

Happy Halloween everyone!!
Until next time...
