When we were young I remember playing softball for a short time and we all used to say: "Swing batter batter...swing!!" I guess we thought we could psych the other teams out-- who knows if it worked.
Seems this generation of Little League players are a bit nicer. They don't chat anything to opposing teams.
But- they sure are competitive. Jack's team is 3-0 and played a great game Monday night. Jack made contact each time and made it to base every time as well. One of these days he'll get some power behind his swing and hit it hard- but at least he's making contact and not striking out. Can't complain.
