Whew - summer is busy!
We are non stop around here.
Last week the kids LOVED their camps.
Jack and his buddy Carter did a baseball camp where Jack plays ball.
Ri and her friend Addy did a musical theater camp based on the movie Frozen. They ended the week with a cute performance.
I was 'that mom' during the performance with Hadley running around like a mad woman…. so embarrassing.
Poor Ri.
This week has been super busy too.
Jack had two days of try outs at his baseball academy.
Luckily he made the team - they are only fielding one 11U team this fall so we feel very lucky to have a spot - more than a few of kids were cut….
It's going to be a busy year for him. Three nights a week practice (they'e added a Cross-Fit component), 6 Sunday only tournaments and then a week off before winter training with his team starts. Much different than last year - but much better!
Jack and Ri have had lots of time to hang with their baseball friends after try-outs and reconnected today with a bunch of friends they haven't seen in a while.
Needless to say after hours swimming in two different pools they are spent tonight.
Hadley had her 15 month well visit yesterday.
Brutal. Two shots. I had to keep my anxiety at bay! Sucked.
She's super snotty today and hasn't napped well. I'm hoping she'll turn that around quickly.
We are headed back to the beach tomorrow and down to Charleston for a wedding of a close friend. Busy weekend but tons of fun….
