Fripp Island - Part Three

On Tuesday we ventured just outs side Fripp Island to Hunting Island State Park.
We had no idea where we were going but we knew there was a light house somewhere.

We wound around a beautiful road for a couple of miles and parked.
Everyone but Hadley and I climbed to the top of the lighthouse and looked out.
We just watched.  From below.

The second and last time we used Had's stroller.

After the rest of the family came down from the lighthouse we walked over to the beach.
It was the coolest beach I have ever seen.
It was super hot so we didn't stay too long but I would love to go back one day with our swimming suits and let the kids explore.

Obviously we timed it right and were there at low tide.  All of these trees are mostly under water during high tide.   Too bad the kids weren't dressed in khakis and white shirts- great photo op!!

More to come….
