So long, farewell….. you know that song from The Sound of Music?
That's what I found myself singing in my head as we pulled out Saturday morning to head home.
On most vacations I am ready to get home.
For some reason I wasn't this time.
Something about the beach, the ocean, family time, the kids bonding with their cousins without interruptions… I just didn't want it to end.
But all good things must come to and end.
And they did.
I enjoyed it. Truly did. Memories of a lifetime. I'm so glad I captured most of them on film.
I hope we get to do it again some day.
