Swisher Bear

Swisher-

You've been in our family for about 6 weeks now and we love you to pieces.
You have settled into our family just fine.
Jack and Riley love you so much and fight over you often.
You don't like to be left alone.

But you do like:

going for walks
being outside
chewing on bones
chewing on sticks
chewing on bath rugs
well- chewing on anything for that matter.

You also like:

to eat, a lot.
to have your belly rubbed.
to chase balls.
to play with other dogs.

You are a bit timid at times, wincing on walks when you hear other dogs barking.
You are a digger- just like Kody Bear.
You can dig and dig and dig in the mulch and drag every last bit of it in the house.
The vacuum has seen quite a bit more use lately.

You are potty trained.
That's not to say you won't ever have an accident again- but you ring
your bell consistently to go outside.
We're weaning you from 'bathroom treats.'
We bought some 'big boy' treats today, and a bigger collar, and a big bone for you to gnaw on.
You are trained on the electric fence mostly- getting confused at the driveway from time to time.
Who knew little white flags could do so much???

We find you sleeping 'peter up' behind Daddy's chair, near doors and almost always on the hard floor somewhere.
The neighbor girls are scared of you but I honestly don't blame them. You can get crazy outside and we have to keep an eye on you so you don't jump on people.

Although we all miss Kody lots and lots we are so thankful to have you!

Now- just lose those baby teeth and we'll be good to go.

Until next time...
