The last couple of weeks during writing workshop Jack's class has been researching an animal, coming up with facts, etc... and writing an "All About" book.
Jack's animal is the kodiak bear. I guess that's fitting- considering Jack's first dog was named Kodiak- but we called him Bear most of the time.
Riley knew Jack was doing this research - we had done some together at home, printing fun facts and some pics of kodiak bears.
So- the other day Riley comes home with this little square piece of paper cut out of a magazine. I guess her class was thumbing through magazines looking for things that started with the letter "F." Riley stumbled upon a picture of a kodiak bear and asked her teacher if she could cut it out to bring home to her brother. Thoughtful, huh?
Well- look what's on the other side?
I couldn't help but laugh!
