From Tree Farm to House

We made it home safe and sound from KY last night.
Just in time to see the Gamecocks put a good old ass-whipin on Clemson.
I love it.

On our way home we drove up a long, narrow, winding hill for 5 miles to a great tree farm and cut down our Christmas tree.

And then we drove the rest of the way home, looking like the Griswalds: car top carrier and Christmas tree tied to the top of our car. Todd bought another barrel of whiskey in KY that was taking up the back of my car. It looks like the Milligan's are going to resurrect the Sweat the Barrel Party again in 2011.

And today it was time to decorate.

I love this time of year.
The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The hustle and bustle of the holidays.
The parties.
The Christmas programs.
The wrapping paper.
I love it all.

Until next time...
